few questions about squats/deads

i get my chalk from a pet shop

i dont think my knees go over my toes on squats but they do at the start of a deadlift

i just rub the chalk all over the palms of my hands, and thumbs

yes i use a narrower grip on squats too

yes alot of people get bleeding shins from deads

about scraping ur shins. wear pants when u do deads...

i was actually going to do this, but i also thought this might decrease my ROM a bit (well at least in some pants i have) which would make it harder.. highly doubtful it would though.

Scotsman- yeah was probably dumb getting colored chalk but it's all they had haha. should i smush it up or just rub it on my hands before i do deads?

Not into mountain climbing bro, nearly died once rock climbing and have never tried again.

I hardly know anyone who rock climbs who is over 200 pounds, and most people are much lighter. Can't imagine someone as huge as you rock climbing:D:cool:

I haven't been rock climbing in about 18 years now and I was much smaller then.

Jdid- Crushing it up will work better. Also if it has that waxy texture on the outside scrape that off before crushing it.

thanks man- read some of those articles and saw a lot of good stuff!

also, i returned the chalk and am going to purchase some lifting chalk online- might not have it for my next session, but i'll hopefully have it soon.

Any ideas on chalk i should buy? Thanks

I usually get mine from Inzer whenever I order new lifting gear. A box typically lasts me a couple years.
