I have been in the gym since I was 14 and am now 34. I would consider myself pretty knowledeable. It, however, just dawned on me yesterday that not only do I vary my routine, but I do it every dang day. What I mean is, that I never do the same workout twice. I will vary excercises, order, reps, sets...
My only constant is that I hit each BP once a week with two rest days. Sometimes they are consecutive rest days sometimes not, it depends on my schedule and how I feel. My reps stay between 5-10 and I lean towards heavier training. My Back legs and chest Always include heavy DL,squats, and bench. About once a month I max out and then get a negative. My body seems to respond best to heavier weights. And I do not get sore without them. That is how I guage if I hit it hard, by whether I am sore or not.
Over the years I have gone from 98lbs to 210 and now sit stuck at 200 and am on tren. I am 5'9".
I was just curious as to what some of you thought about keeping it THIS mixed up. I havent always worked out like this but it seems to be where I have landed and am don't feel comforteable stuck in one routine. DO you think to stick with a good basic routine will get me past this plateau? Or do you thin it better to keep my body guessing?
