scrunger is on the money. i've used 25mg ephedrine HCL + 200mg caffeine 3 times a day for a 6-month span, only taking 1 week off per month (and im not even sure thats entirely necessary). i know that some of the more prominent effects like sweating, jitters, rush-kind of feeling all dissipate after a certain amount of time, but studies have shown that the thermogenic properties continue well on after the physical effects stop being noticed.
i used to be a caffeine hound, so it doesn't make me jittery at all. the only side effect to note was that if i dosed too close to an intense cardio session i got very mild heart palpitations.
like scrunger said, stick to that dosing schedule and you'll be perfect. have fun!
