What ways do you all who get this dreaded stuff do to maek it easier on you. I get it on my elbows and the copper bracelet help a little bit. Ibuprofen helps some. Icy Hot or Bio Freeze help some. But for the most part it still hurts and I love doing skull crushers and tricep extensions behind the head and I cannot do this now because of the intense pain. I can bench and dumbell presses and tricep extensions with the cables without hardly any pain. Help me if you can any will help. Georgia Irish

buy glucosamine/chroniditin at CVS. it helps. do not work out for a week.
put few times a day mineral ice on your elbow or tiger balm!

I'm with heavywear , a lot of times you look at where the pain is coming from and attribute it to that muscle when it can actually be the weak antagonistic muscle causing the pain. I had the same problem and used lots of tiger balm and startedd doing more bis and brachialis movements and it went away. Try it

joints!

glucosamine/chondrointon works well for joint pain. Flaxseed oil helps too (pill form) by giving your body something to help lube 'em up! There is also a type of Ibprofen for Arthritis sufferes at CVS my physical therapist told me about when I suffered from elb. tend. in high school during softball. Helped with the inflammation!

Are you certain that it's tendonitis? My own experience with tendonitis has been more a chronic achiness disassociated with exercise. Could it be epichondrilitis ... is the pain concentrated right at the points of the elbow on either side of your arm? It's lateral epichondrilitis if it's on the ouside point of the elbow, medial epichondrilitis if it's on the inside point (these are better known as golfer's elbow and tennis elbow, respectively).

A topical ibuprofen can help, or if you or anyone you know is travelling to the UK soon, get aspirin/codeine or paracetamol/codeine caps - these really help me. I don't know about the rest of Europe, but you can get these at any pharmacy in the UK.

If the problem is actually in the joint itself, glucosamine/chondroitin can help, although you should use chondroitin by itself if you have any blood sugar issues - I'm diabetic and glucosamine screws up my blood sugar. Also, check your calcium intake - if you don't get a lot from your diet or don't use a good mineral supplement, you may need to use a calcium supplement.
