Elbow and wrist hurt!!!

Do you think than "Tiger Bound" (I might spell it wrong) can be good to put some heat on my injury?

Cause I have notive that it hurt when my arm is flex to his max (like in a concentration curl, to his top).

I think you mean "tiger balm", im not sure what in it exactly but as long as what ever it is does not reduce inflamation then your fine. FOr example tylenol wont interfere with the healing but can help the pain. Ibuprofin on the other hand helps with the pain by reducing the inflamation which is detrimental to overall healing of the injury.

I always get a kick out of people who say to use an injured limb to help increase blood flow and promote healing and in the same breath they say take anti-inflamatories and use ice, which by the way reduce inflamation which triggers blood flow to the area, one reason it swells and turns red.

I was taking a fitness class one time at school and we had this guest speaker come in. It was the athletic department's physical rehab guy. He was talking about how when people sprain their ankle and want to use a crutch he yells at them. He was like

"Damnit! You're suppose to use the foot! I dont care if steping on it has you crying out for your momma! How else are you gonna get blood going to that area to help heal."

He really liked doing deep tissue massage cause it made people hurt so bad. I think he kind of liked hurting people.

Also, Doak, do you work at a computer? Sometimes repetative typing can cause wrist problems? Just a thought....

Me studying informatic... WOW it's funny how you "find" what I do in life without knowing me.

Zyglamail, thx you look to know a lots about injury and healing. I might try Tiger Balm and give you some new about it. This kind of cream just put heat on the skin and I think it help the blood circulation, so it's might be good.

Hello,
I have a question for you, since 2 weeks my wrist have start to hurts and now my elbows are hurting!

What should I do? Take a week off? Slow down the weight for some weeks? I really do not know what do to :(

Part of the problem is that you are using too much volume in your routine. This has caused excessive strain and breakdown in the joints. I would purchase some glucosamine and cut down on volume. Train 3 to 4 days per week at a most. Also, keep training sessions limited 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Thx louden_swain I'll take in mine the time you suggest me and for the glucosamine I did some search and it might be good to.

Thx
