And thx Zyglamail for the tips about the heat, I have always thought that ice is better when we have something wrong but if you sure of what you said, I will put some heat on them, thx.
Icy hot... I also like heating pads... I get those adhesive ones that are "on air" contact... you can get them at the grocery store, I put them on when I go to bed and in the morning I feel like a million.
The pain in your wrists could have effected your elbows as well... as you may have been compensating in other ways, which put a strain onto your elbows... have you noticed any variance in your form of exercises? It is hard to, unless you are specifically paying attention for it.
Well, I have increase the charge for my dumbbell presses and to take them from the floor it's kinda really more hard than usually. I think the problem start from there. But for my elbow I do not have a clue.

The problem with society today is that everyone wants a quick fix and they want it now. Docs nowdays dont treat an injury, they treat the symptom. For example, when I was suffering bad tendonitis in my elbow I was told aleeve, anti-inflamatories, ice and even cortisone injection. I tried the tried and true methods and while it eased the pain, once I stopped meds it came right back.....what does that tell you? All the docs recomendations did was address the issue of pain, what I wanted was for the injury to be healed. They are actually on opposit ends of the spectrum. Pain is caused by inflamation. Inflamation is a KEY element to healing tendon/ligament damage and if you take anti inflamatories and use ice you reduce inflamation and ya do feel better but the injury is still there and you are more likely to aggrivate it further. In addition to that by reducing or eliminating inflamation you also greatly reduce the healing process. You have to decide whats more important to you comfort or healing, cause chances are you cant have both.
I always get a kick out of people who say to use an injured limb to help increase blood flow and promote healing and in the same breath they say take anti-inflamatories and use ice, which by the way reduce inflamation which triggers blood flow to the area, one reason it swells and turns red.
basically put you can take it easy, lift what you can comfortably and without pain, or you can dope yourself up on anti-inflamatories so you wont feel the damage you are doing and risk a much greater injury in the future. It will take time to heal, no way around it but as long as your not continually injuring it by lifting heavy you should at least be able to use it.
