Diet and Painkillers - NEED GOOD ADVICE!

Mr.Genius

New member
I am on painkillers for an injury - and I find it extremely difficult to maintain a strict diet to remain lean because the painkillers give me a HUGE appetite. It seems that everytime I take them, I get hungry and I crave certain foods, making dieting very difficult.

Any advice on how to get around this and maintain a strict diet for good??

Would you mind giving us a bit more info?

Is this a long-term injury or something you just had happen?

What are the painkillers?

Maintaining a 'strict' diet is not always the best way to diet.

Usually these sort of dieters fall off the bandwagon and binge, instead of just letting themselves have a bit of a snack/cheat or free meal every now and then.

Sure.....

1. This is a long term lower back/upper butt injury

2. painkillers are usually vicodin (active ingredient is hydrocodone)

I do allow myself periodic snacks so as to not deprive myself totally, but when I am on this type of medication, it's as if I can eat 13 cows....I can litteraly go 2-3 days straight eating 3-4 times the portion size of what I would normally eat.

So my normal routine would be 4-5 days of proper, high protein, low carb/fat dieting - 2-3 days of binging like an animal.

??

lipoflame helps with fat loss and appetite control, give it a try bro you wont be dissapointed

Painkillers also slow the digestive system to a crawl.
Theres a reason heroin addicts only take 1 shit a week...lol.
They often cause constipation or dry shits too. You getting any of those sides?
