I had a horrid deadlift expeirence yesterday. I was lifting at my University weightroom. The bar they had in the power rack I was using was like trying to grip soap. All of the roughness had been smoothed away by use. Smooth as a baby's butt. I quickly dubbed thee "Ice Bar". I guess I will just adjust and get better with the ice bar.
I love doing deads as well. More than squats actually. I always make the action of sittin back before lifting the weight. This ensures good form. I've read that dont its not good for the back to go too slow on the negative. Its best the just let it down smoothly.
