Cutting fat without loosing muscle

Hey guys need some advice,

Been training for a while now and been getting some results. I dont use steroids and am trying to go natural at moment. been eating heeps fairly clean stuff too. Anyway I tend to put on fat around the gut and also chest area. At the moment really want to loose this fat while still maintaining the muscle that I have built up.

How to do this , do I keep doing weight training along with cardio? What sort of diet to implement.

Thanks guys I really wanna loose this fat before starting to bulk again.

Cheers from Australia

Thanks but what about the training side of things? Do I still train heavy the same as i have been or change the weights routine? Obviously on top of that i will be doing about 5 good 1 hour cardio sessions for the week

train they way you train normally....they have nothing to do with each other. yes, you can train heavy and cut at the same time. if your use volume training and your bulking that doesn't matter either...

agreed..do what you do normally to retain as much strength/muscle that you can.

1 hour of cardio 5x a week is going to be extremely catabolic..you should consider less cardio and a slower cut for more muscle retension..

When I"m cutting bodyfat I change my training to 15-20reps with min rest inbetween sets. That way I get some cardio in with my weight training. When cutting carbs it can be a nightmare trying to train heavy.
