My in-laws are Chinese and extremely health concious as well as traditional in the eastern way of thinking. They eat the cow's blood too. The way they eat it is in more of a solidified form. I'm guessing mixed with some kind of gelatin. Anyway, they also drink tons of green tea ever day, as well as garlic and veggies and lean proteins, brown rice, ect.
TRADITIONAL Chinese stuff is very healthy. It's the Americanized stuff that'll kill you.
