the home test says the normal range for sugar is between 90 and 120.

Mine came back 60!

Is my CKD effecting the results? is it too low? :worried:

i would think that level would be fairly common on ckd, i never did check mine, but your glucose level will go down on it, do you feel ok at that number?

i feel fine. My dad is a diabetic and was testing his so i figured what the hell.

he was a lil concerned so i figured let me find out for sure.

if you feel fine i wouldnt think there would be anything to worry about, when it gets too low you would feel lightheaded
how long had it been since you had eaten when you took it? even eating a lot of protien will raise it through glucogenesis (something like that cant remember the correct term)

Don't sweat it. Blood glucose will rise and fall during a CKD (normally, stay low) until you refeed periodically every weekend or other weekend. You will feel depleted during your WO's, which kind of sucks, but that's part of the 'lay of the land.' Are you taking thermos? I was on clen/ECY during a CKD last spring. Kept me running in circles :D

Glucogenesis is the process of how glycogen is formed/created by glucose. It can actually be a good thing keeping protein high.

Here is a good article.
