I couldn't make it. It's about an hour away from me. I turned on the radio to hear the traffic report and they was some accident and they were closing roads down so I didn't go. LI traffic is a nightmare without accidents.

Too bad. I would have liked to talk to him.

I was chatting with a Polish guy on a Star Trek chat group and, when he mentioned he was Polish, I asked whether he'd heard of Maruisz. He was like "Are you serious? Didn't I just mention I was Polish?". Not quite those words but that was the gist of it. Pudzianowski is a super-hero in Poland.
