Colstreamer's journey to be The Best of The Best

Hey bro good pics (thanks from all of us) and even tho the injury good times!
You gave your best and we all know that you did us DAM PROUD!
Heal up, work hard as we all know you do and will and come back with a mean ass vengeance!
We are always here for you bro.

Thanks Zed :)
I didn't win and I'm disappointed with my performance which means as soon as I'm healed I'm getting back to training. Focus will be on stamina and flexibility but of course I'll be keeping up the lifting. Gonna start SL 5x5 s soon as I can although I'm not planning on gaining any more weight. 225lbs is a good fighting weight for me if anything I'll be trying to drop a tad more fat :D I'm defending my British title next year, I've been invited to the German championships for a demonstration bout, the European champs is next year and I may have a picked fight in the new year  so I've got a lot to train for. Wish me luck bros, if I got any probs ill be askin!!

...anyone know any good rehab techniques for torn gastrocnemius??

Well yes as a matter of fact...tons of very gentle stretching and even more tones of walking out doors in the woods or in parks. Not on a path. You need the up and down and uneveness of the natural ground.
Then mix in a little bit of my single leg dbl calve routing and you be g2g.

I'm on that bro! I've had to do a lot of walking since I got back and stretching is a must. Everytime I sit down for 5 mins my calf goes tight so I gotta stretch it to walk again.
I'll keep it up and as soon as I can go up stairs properly I'll start with your routine! :D

Im right there with you bro!

For the last couple of days I've gone for a 3 mile walk through the park. It's taken longer than usual and I've made sure to stretch afterwards for at least 30 mins, varied stretches for my calves and hamstrings /quads. :)

Sounds good bro. Its gonna take awhile but you will get there fosho.
