Today has been chillin out, stretching lightly so I'm nice and supple tomorrow and eating plenty of high carb foods. Rice, semolina, pasta, fruits, some vegetables and sweet potatoes.
I've made 3litres (about 5 1/4 pints) of isotonic drink, 6% glucose, pinch of salt and sugar free black current Ribena for flavour and I've got a couple of Tupperware boxes full or more pasta and quinoa with a touch of olive oil and pesto for flavour. That little lot should keep my energy levels right up there
I've mostly been trying to ignore the fact I'm fighting tomorrow, I find if I dwell on it too much I get nerves, nothing major but that slow release of adrenalin certainly eats away at your energy. I can't help visualising my eventual fight with Freddie (the Frenchman) he's lighter than me by 20kg (44lbs) which means he'll have a speed advantage. He's a strong fighter, not talented like me, but definitely strong and I'll have to be on my guard against him. I really think he's my only real competition. Just my luck to come up against one of the only frenchmen who actually chooses to fight rather than run away! Lol!
Oh well, time to watch some TV and let my dinner digest, then am early night. Got a big day tomorrow!
