12 weeks...?

seems like a long ass time to go with carbs only once a week...

:(

well I've lost 30 lbs in 5 weeks on it before when I was at 30% bf or so. of course a good amount of that was water but it worked well for my weight loss competition we had at work and I won about $200 from it :-)

Did your diet consist of fat and protein (carbs from vegetables only) ?

4 weeks i think i could handle... if i could drop 8-10 pounds in that time, that would be ideal to me...

must read more though...

I think for the first 2 weeks your body is still getting adjusted, I have seen people run this diet for 3 weeks and see no results, and then all of a sudden they drop fat like Ive never seen. I guess peoples bodys click in at different times. Ive seen people lose about 5 lbs of water weight, stall for the next week and a half of their first 2 weeks, get upset about it, then the next week, they drop like 4lbs of fat. CKD is one of those things that everyones body will adjust to differently, but I will say that it pretty much works for everyone as long as u have your diet down. Id say stick to it for at least 3 weeks until you start seeing any real results, or at least to make a judgement on if you think it's for you, results come faster or slower for you depending on how your body reacts to it.

Its a pretty simple diet honestly, you just have to have alot of will power to bang through it. I dont even do a carb up for the first week, some people go 2 weeks before doing their first carb up.

It's whatever you think you can take, diet and training are def strict for best results as with any diet. I do about 3 days of moderate cardio, 2 days of hit, and 3 days lifting. My first time running a CKD I lost about 22lbs in 2 months. Then I hurt my shoulder and gained some weight back, but thats my fault for getting depressed about it. The Diet def showed some results, fat loss while sparing muscle, I think I accually added some LBM.

Seems to be a great diet I am 8lbs down in 5 days,I am sure most of it is water because I am starting to look deflated but I can tell I have lost some fat already.

you know so many people chime in about no crabs and looking "flat" or "soft", well i tend to disagree. I think I look fantastic when i'm less bloated, more ab defination, more everything defination. Mak is a great example too as he said he doesn't carb up for his shoots. I suppose if i were to be at 5% or something perhaps i'd have a different outlook, but at my current 10-11% i like the deflated look..lol, perhaps it's just cause im a bigger guy at 6'4" 255 (after my carb up:))
