Well I was thinking, cause money is tight (as I said before obviously I am not 3 and 1/2 kids, haha ha) I was going to get a babysitter and have a bed and breakfast kinda thing at home. Spend the day with him (walks, bikeriding, or whatever, cook him a nice supper, we have a jacuzzi in our bedroom and a fireplace in the living room, soooo....) but I want to do something extra special for him, but I don't know what :whatever: ?????

I have a suggestion, but you'd have to have a REAL close girlfriend, LOL.
With the Jacuzzi & fireplace, it sounds like you have it made anyways. Hell, I'd never leave the house except to get wine & (low fat) whipped cream.

Truly? Alone time. Just me & the Mrs. Out doing some shopping, or window shopping. Hiking. Anything out of the house & low key. Nice dinner in the evening, preferably at a Restaurant, so there's no cooking or clean up involved. Maybe theatre, or a light concert:dance2:, then home to :busy: .

That would work, as long as; a. there isn't too much cleanup, or b. the kids will actually do it.

Friday, August 11th

Woke up this morning to one of our soldiers funeral on the television, not to put a damper on a start to a wonderful weekend, but it made me realize how

thankful I am to have a wonderful family, friends, life and the ability and freedom to be able to do what ever I want with the future I have.

I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend!

You could always do the cliche (but fun!) lingere, cool whip, strawberries, chocolate syrup, caramel, candles thing for your anniversary.

pull ups (yeah right) downs = 90
back extensions
30 min cardio going to do a HITT and I am off....... :)

I had a nice steak on the grill last night with mushrooms and onions myself :chomp: I never crave red meat... but boy.. the past few days I have!!!
I still want to know how you have 4 beers, and ice cream while dieting down?!?! Errrrrr....... NOWAY could that be tolerated with my diet and body!

well today IS officially day one of NO CHEATING!!! I won't be doing my contest till October, (money too tight) and I had to get in one last cheat. Trust me I felt like crap, and my tummy still doesn't like me.

No more, I will be taking this day by day though, I just printed off my progress pics for motivation. I can't f*(&(& around anymore. I am paying too much for a trainer to throw it all away now.

oh yeah, mmmmmm steak, I am such a red meat eater :chomp:

I know what you mean. It seems stupid to go to all this work & throw it all away by not eating right (meaning me, not you).
I wish I had your will power. Working on it, though. Self control/denial is like a muscle. You gotta work on the little things, to give you strength for the big ones.

this sounds silly but you know what i am doing, I posted up a calendar and putting a big check mark up on each day for each day that I completely eat right/exercise and drink enough water until the competition. Kinda a little reminder and a pat on the back for me! So now I have one BIG check mark for today!

(kinda like students getting stickers for good behavior :) )

I used to have The bear in the Big Blue house potty vid here...If you want it you can have it lol...I think I still have it...My youngest is 4 almost 5 so I have been out of that stage for awhile...I used to have a cool book that they flushed the potty.....If you want them let me know lol

The able minded aren't so much better than the disabled. We still have our games we play with ourselves, justifying this & rationalizing that. I walked for 6 out of 18 holes. That means I can have 2 more beers. The disabled are just more transparent.
136.8 lbs. Wow, I'm only 100 lbs heavier than you, LOL.
 
My eye feels like it is coming out of my head, headache because of it I am sure and it is all crusty, there is a visual for you. I know what it is from though, I tried some tanning lotion before tanning yesterday and I got some in my eye,arrrrrrr! :rolleyes: !!!

But hubby is taking me out tonight, no kids, I am going to wear sunglasses and look like a dork! no comments from the peanut gallery (yeah I know I don't need the glasses to look like one, LMAO)

I am happy to report, I had a wonderful evening last night! went and played pool, then we went out to eat, I had a salad, I was actually craving one! and water, water, water all night long! Came home early cause hubby had to drive out of town at 4 this morning :rolleyes: but woke up late and am enjoying my coffee, then off to pick up the kids, arrrr I miss them!

I don't know of any other starches that I can eat that take time to cook :rolleyes: any suggestions I would love! :heart: I am really really sick of melba toast.

Yup, potty training, she just SHIT all over the floor, that goodness it was on the hardwood! yup, the last one I have to potty train, I am kinda sad...oh wait.... yeah I am over it now! She is being sooooo stubborn, I give her one week and if it isn't working, she isn't ready yet.

Well three of the healthiest carb sources you can eat are sweet potatoes, brown rice & oatmeal. You can throw a small sweet potato in the micro for like 4-5 minutes, brown rice (I try to only eat long grain which takes 45 min to cook so you would need to PREP this when you had time, which I don't so I'm sure you don't lol :)) & oatmeal, old fashioned quaker oats in best, not the instant stuff. 1/2 cup can take ~10 minutes ... not too long for me at all ...

I'm glad I at least went for a walk .. plus I ate pizza .. :D and you bet your @$$ I fitday'd that sh1t too ... :D lol ... no worries here! I want to do the fitday thing, but I honestly don't have the patience, I am always messing it up, you know me and computers. But my trainer gave me a list and said measure and don't worry about it, but of course I still do! cheats are good to get in once in a while, you said pizza and I am drooling but I am going to be good. I figure I ate good and never drank for 9 months 3x's I can do this until october!

I'm not sure what you mean by "you fitday", but I write down everything I eat in a spreadsheet type thing. It's really shocking, sometimes, the innocuous things that trip you up. Just by having a log on here, and having all you good peeps read it, I've stopped snacking at work. There's a guy that's always bringing in Cookies (so good), & Resen's chocolate candies. I'd have 2 or 3 a day. Now I don't, 'cause I know I'd be adding them to my diet journal.

I'm not sure what you mean by "you fitday", but I write down everything I eat in a spreadsheet type thing. It's really shocking, sometimes, the innocuous things that trip you up. Just by having a log on here, and having all you good peeps read it, I've stopped snacking at work. There's a guy that's always bringing in Cookies (so good), & Resen's chocolate candies. I'd have 2 or 3 a day. Now I don't, 'cause I know I'd be adding them to my diet journal.


Fitday.com is a program that you enter your food that you have eaten for the day and it will break down carbs, proteins, fats and total calories for you. It is great! however, I find it not really user friendly when it comes to measurements.

I know what you mean about the cheats though, being accountable, I write all my food down and it makes it easy for me to plan my day.

Haven't got the planning thing perfected yet, but looking back in dismay is going just fine.

LOL, Look back only to see where you can fine tune things like (the times you need to eat, what you need to eat and what will work best at those times) . As well, look back to see the progress you have made from all the hard work you have been putting in!

then forward on!!!!!! Your doing it, which is more than a lot of people and your working hard to obtain your goal so knowing that should be motivation enough to keep on going!!!!!! I am posting this in your log too! :)

It's all good. The nice thing about tracking, too, is, if you know you're going out to dinner, & you've already recorded what you are planning on ordering, then you can look at it before you go out, & say, "No, I don't need a whole bucket of chicken".
Wifey was jonesing for KFC last night. We compromised & went to Harvey's. No cheese, remove top of bun, & left half the fries for the cleaners.

Good man, and woman! I dislike KFc very very very much. They had a news report and it said that kfc will not quit making their fries with bad oil.

A girl after my own heart lolololol....got to love them stubborn ones...my last one took forever....my first two were easy. I thought my redhead would be in pullups forever....just remeber CK THEY do it when THEY are ready not when we are lol....

I received two calls for interviews, just waiting back on day and time, one is for a marketing coordinator, and not sure what the other one is for (I hate when they leave messages but don't say what job, I have literally applied to about 200 places :)

No sticker for me today, yesterday was bad, I ate breakfast, had meal 2 then got really busy, ended up ordering pizza and before I knew it I had 8 pieces and about 8 cookies that my daughter and I baked :rolleyes: but then I didn't eat anything after that!? :)

I see my trainer again today. So as per my trainer: deep tissue massage followed by massages there after! new poses and new pics tonight or tomorrow. The diet still the same, she told me what is done is done (about yesterday, she just said watch the sodium!)
