Chinese Food?

Here is the deal:

The house is out of any kind of real food since we just got back from vacation. Im feeling way to lazy to drive to the grocery store to restock the supplies. My wife wants chinese food, and I just started a strict (at least for me) diet. What can I order that wont ruin it. Or should I just get what I want and work it off at the gym tomorrow?

Are vacations really vacations, or does anybody else feel more worn out when they get back? :p

i have cravings for chinese food all the time. it was my main food in my diet for awhile. now, i just go with the chicken w/broccoli but ask for it steamed with the sauce on the side. this is how i get every dish. i then mix a lil bit of the sauce with a lil olive oil for some flavor and some EFA's if im not eating carbs. if im eating carbs, no olive oil, no sauce.

I NEVER thought of asking for chinese food that way....guess it just never crossed my mind. You may just be on to something here. Thanks!

Time to order!!! :chomp: :chomp: :chomp:

I like to go to the Mongolian barbeque type. These have raw food bars along with the cooked food.

This way you can pick your proteins, veggies, sprouts, etc. and sauces if you want them and have them grilled fresh.

almost anything that is named

[NUT] chicken
[veggy] beef/chicken

Should be fine.
Ask for the sauce on the side. If you use chopsticks you can easily pick out the stuff you don't want to eat :-)

Also, if they have low sodium soy sauce, it's a great way to season your food and add some protein. I LOVE soy sauce. I used to drink little cap sized shots of it when i was a kid lol.

This is what I do for the foods that I love but cant eat. On the weekends if I am craving chinese I order so much prok fried rice and almond chincken I cant eat it all. After I eat so much I dont feel good.... I throw it all up. Usally the feeling I have after i puke will leave me without having that craving again..... Its kinda sick for most people but fuckin A!
