I agree with Nelson. Cardio is essentially not fully necessary. It is a good way to burn calories, but proper diet and a high intensity fast-paced weightlifting session with little time in between sets can be more beneficial when cutting than doing cardio before or after a workout. I enjoy doing a bit of cardio early in the morning while cutting for about 20 minutes.....not because I believe it is necessary, but just for endurance purposes for other sports. Offseason I don't really bother with doing any cardio or fast paced weightlifting. I Just lifty heavy and do lower reps.
