cardio with sore legs?

spatts said:
Being obsessive compulsive about your training is only productive in giving you something to talk about. Like I said, if my legs were sore, I wouldn't do cardio at all.

They werent that sore.. Did 35 minutes of cardio. Treadmill.. mostly moderate jogging, some walking, and a little bit (bout 5 mins) of actuall running.

The ones who said that the soreness would go away while I did it was right, and it felt great..

I know im not gonna change overnight.. but hell, the more I work at it.. the faster it will happen. I am nowhere near overtraining, I feel better now then I have in a long time.. even with the slight muscle soreness.

I just did legs and finished with 20 minutes on the bike.:D

It had less to do with trying to make my legs feel better, and more to do with a 20 year old brunette. :good: ;)

And no I would not do this as part of my regular leg workout.

Interesting that you picked that to quote.

Of course running will make you "FEEL" better. Like I said, using your muscles will flood blood and oxygen into them and flush toxins out....that's gonna make you feel better.

Unfortunately, unless you're on or have superior genetics, or are very young, you probably also interfered a tad with the healing process. Overtime, I wonder how much the will inhibit your productivity.

Glad you're feeling better.

Well... I actually picked that quote.. because from the time that I started at the gym... to now, I have changed my goals... I now have a goal, whereas before I didnt. My goal right now is to not be at 23% bodyfat! I'm gonna cut down as much as I can, hopefully to about 13-15% bodyfat. Then I will start bulking up some muscle.

That is the main reason I will get my cardio in no matter what. Doing the cardio seems to be so easy to stick to now that I belong to a gym. Going to the gym is no problem for me.. and it seems that running on a treadmill in the gym is easier than running outside on a trail. That is.. easier in a breathing sense.. its still running. Just clean air, and its not a humid hot hell inside there like it is outside here in Texas.

Speaking of young.. I am still pretty young, I'm still 18 (19 on may 27th). And truthfully.. I do beleive I may have gotton some genetic's for my muscle. I didn't workout a day in my life untill I was 18.. yet, I started with high strengths, and larger muscles then others my size.

Thanks for the help spatts, your a great woman.
