Cardio question for the Masters

I am working out @ 5:30am, first doing cardio for about 50 mins, then do abs for about 10 mins. then I hit the weights. I am 5'8", weighing 195 with about 17% b/f (I know that's alot). I need to know what would be the best possible routine to loose 15 maybe 20 lbs. in about a month and a half. I worked out 5 days out of the week.

Also does anyone know where to buy pure Ephredine. And has anyone used the ECA Stack by NutraSport or does anyone recommend something better than this.

Thanks:alien:

i'm not really a master but i am sure your cardio would be more productive if you do it after your weight session as your weight session will deplete your glycogen stores allowing your body to dip into the bodyfat for energy....you weight workouts would probably be more productive this way too......just a lil info

If it were me, and at 17%BF...I would increase my muscle. I would focus on gaining muscle which will decrease your bodyfat % AND increase your metabolism.

You can easily lose that weight by focusing your diet... drop 400 cals per day and keep your routine going and you will see the fat drop off.

Do cardio that lets your heart rate really get up there.. 75% of max at least and sustain that for at least 30 mins. preferably an hour. I'd do it after your weight session, you will continue burning fat for an hour or so after you stop. You may lose some muscle as well, but as long as you are eating well (protein) you will be ok.

Cut out and crap you may eat.. soda.. dressings.. pastries.. pastas.. desserts.. just remember its only temporary.. you can eat a little more resonably once you've dropped your 10-15lbs.

Since you are alreay doing cadio and weights in the morning, switch the order and do cadio after the weight training.

Cut out ALL refined sugar from diet.

Drink two protein drinks as 2 of your 5-6 meals.

Ripped Fuel Extreme is the best Epred, based fat burner on the market.

50 minutes of cardio should net you 750-850 calories per workout. That is a pound per week loss-rate on it's own.

Adjust calories to around 2200-2500. Eating half the plate filed with low-fat protein, a forth with a fibrous carb and the remainder with a mushy carb.

Keep weight training sessions to around 12-14 sets on a one-bodypart per day. Keepinmg reps bewteen 6-12 on most exercise.

THis should net you 2 pounds per week. Optimal fat loss with minimal muscle loss.

GOod luck.

Thanks you guys for all the good info.

Second part to the question:

Would it be better to do only cardio and massive abs in the morning then in the afternoon hit the weights.

I would opt for that personally
