He has gone from pants size 34 to 48 in over 2 years. In an attempt to lose weight, he will go on 6-7 weeks of Xenical - which is the fat blocker, but it is not like he consumes enough food overall to worry about fat. He will lost about 10 pounds, but it ain't fat. he ends up a 10 pound lighter fat person.
w/o lifestyle changes he is fucked. Sounds like he has a high stress life and doesn't really care anymore.
Acetate (which is what ethanol is converted into) doesn't get stored as bodyfat. but alcohol increases appetite so maybe if someone eats fatty foods they will get stored as fat. but studies seem to say heavy drinking doesn't cause fat gain for some reason.
