***This is the third time in my the last 3-4 meals I've almost swallowed some bones in my "boneless" chicken... Grrr***

***Stress Level today was elevated, became highly aggitated at every little thing after my workout, my head was clear enough to notice it....unable to get cardio & abs done, had to run some errands and things were somewhat of a clusterphuck today but it was absolutely necessary I spend the majority of my morning and early afternoon studying.:rose: Post workout, as I was shopping for my meals for the 2 weeks (as I always seem to run out of something by the end of one week *cha-ching*) I opted to pick up a nice bottle of wine and plan to savor the taste, as any/all alcohol will also be cut out of my diet again (PB was gone as of yesterday morning THANK GAWD). I am hoping to not finish the entire bottle but since what is left will go down the drain, I make no guarantees. Before bed or If I get hungry I may have my other serving of Almonds and maybe some more of that bread & ALOT more water....Going to watch the Aviator in a bit and would like to wish everyone a great evening & Holiday tomorrow as it is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service.***


Oh and someone told me I have "cankles" today... :whatever:

The only problem I see is that you didn't take your new found aggitation out on the cankle talker - I can tell you from experience that every once and a while stupid people need to have their minds rearranged verbally.

See now had I followed my own advice above I probably would have only been half as insane and stressed out as I have been the past month.

LMAO @ "cankles" -- when ur calves run into your ankles?? One of the girls I train with talked about cankles for the first week after our show -- swollen legs so that ankles + calves = cankles.?

Yes. ;) Usually noticed mostly in VERY skinny women (no calf development) or overweight women (sometimes men). I'd bet Bunny does NOT have them. The person who told you that was JEALOUS! :)

Oh dayyuum... I think we've laughed about that before now that I think of it...;) That would annoy the heck outta me...I hate to pick one specific quality (physical one esp.) that I love about my BF but he's got some fantastic calves :heart:

***Notes to Self***

My diet is pretty much set for the next 2-3 weeks, although I may be adding a few different things here or there to allow for a little variety/flavor. This should squash any cravings that may surface… (NO PB!)

My training is also provisionally set for the next 2-3 weeks. I will make it a point to get in AM cardio then back to gym straight from the office for PM weights (may flip flop to AM training occasionally), but basically adhere to the gym/work/back to gym then home schedule I was once accustomed … I'm hoping this will allow for me to be in bed and asleep by 10…

Generally, I dislike working out with anyone b/c I sometimes feel s/he is holding me back, gets in the way, can't hang, doesn't listen, then I lose focus, etc.... I can attest to the fact the choice of person in the past (if I ever allowed it) has never been optimal.

I'm at a different place in my life. More specifically, I'm at a place in my training now, a TP would be very beneficial.

I have a great offer on the table and I may give it a shot for a change, and more importantly the experience (this time it will be with someone who knows what he's doing and it wouldn't cost me a thing)...

I cannot stand someone I cannot rely on though, esp. when I need my dedication to be top notch...

Argh, decisions decisions ... this is most likely my way of convincing myself to try it...just wanted to put it out there

OMG, I JUST WOKE UP from another one...it's all hot/humid/muggy and feels so nasty in my house right now...

All of the sudden it was like a torrential downpour, sky pitch black, and thundering that actually scared the bah-jeezus outta me, not to mention my puppy panting and shaking like a leaf under my feet...poor thing

I'm glad I got back on EF... I feel a little better but decided I'm not going to post up loggage stuff until I get some issues worked out with 'life'... I'm you know specifically what I'm referring to...

I noticed I've been weaker, form could have been better and definitely didn't feel the pump that I use to.

Hope you had a great weekend sweetie! I went to a different gym to lift w/ the trainer. And we got to lift "heavier" (still not at my top weights but nice break from the 50 rep sets...) and we got lots of stares like we were not just new to the gym but from a different planet-- the hyuge 300 lb guy and the girl with some muscles. OMG! LOL!

Other than the gross weather, I finally put a separate AC unit in my bedroom and hibernated…slept, ate, peed in the jug, watched “the 4400”, repeat LOL…

Here is an update for those who know what I’ve been going through with my Kidney Issues:

First things first, direct quote from the doc, “You aced your pee test….”
YAY!!! :lmao:

Blood work still showed elevated Creatinine level in my blood, but down from the last 4-5 workups. YAY again! ;)

I basically underwent some tests that help determine kidney function, namely a "creatinine clearance"...

I’ll try to paraphrase his exact words, “The body generally tries to eliminate approx 75-115 mL of creatinine that is released in the blood. For someone your age (taking health issue into consideration), my level is 122, which is higher than ‘normal’ but absolutely fantastic music to my ears. The Creatinine is still high in your blood but the reason for the elevation is NOT because the kidneys aren’t working….” The kids “are doing what they need to do” and “doing a good job.”

Some important facts I found for those interested:
- Creatinine is a protein produced by muscle and released into the blood.
- If kidney function falls (say a kidney is removed to donate to a relative or damaged from cancer), the creatinine level will rise.
- Normal is about 1 for an average adult.
- Muscle bound weight lifters may have a higher normal creatinine.
- Creatinine production is related to how much muscle one has.
- Creatinine clearance is technically the amount of blood that is "cleared" of creatinine per time period. It is usually expressed in ml per minute. Normal is 120 ml/min for an adult.
- Creatinine clearance has to be measured by urine collection (usually 12 or 24 hours). It is a more precise estimate of kidney function than serum creatinine since it does not depend on the amount of muscle one has.


Conclusion – At this time Bunny will not need dialysis because symptoms of kidney failure…
