Building the Perfect Beast

It is the best book I read on gear so far. I sat down and really examined it good and learned all kinds of new stuff. An even better book by him is Building the Perfect Beast II. Excellant book full of all kinds of useful information. You have to be patient and take your time reading it so that you comprehend some of the complex info in it.

I just recevied Building the Perfect Beast in the mail today. What a read, it's a great book that every hardcore bodybuilder or weight lifter should have. I have never claimed to be an expert on AAS or HGH, but reading this book made me feel stupid. Just curious about your opinions on this read if you have it.

I did not think it was very good at all, loads of things in it make no sense, they are just done to be different.

I would avoid.

That is why you need to really focus when you are reading it so that you can comprehend what it is saying. If you do this you will see that is a ton of useful information. It is the best publication on gear that I reaad so far.

I agree with this. This is prevelant in our industry from trainers making up stupid exercises to seem novel, to gurus making up cycles that make no sense to wow people. I see it everyday. I can't tell you how many people come to me for help and I ask to see what they were doing before. A typical story is, "I had this guru from Europe helping me and he had me doing blah, blah, blah...". The cycles made no sense. I explained to them that AAS are fairly simple and that most try to make it more complex that it has to be. Stick to the basics that are tried and true. It will work. After I set the guy up on a simple cycle and diet, they are always happy and amazed how easy it is.

It is not that I did'nt understand what was being said, it is that what was being said, was rubbish basicly.

There are things in the book that can be proven to be wrong, very wrong, so this to me, puts the rest of it in the same catagory.

His 1st book CEM, was just a reprint of WAR 96, pretty much word for word in many cases.

Well you need to check out Building the Perfect Beast II. It contains very useful information on Catabolism, Anabolism, it goes into debt on the many side effects which are caused by AAS and how you reduce them a great deal with training diet and other drugs. And it also contains various cycles that you can use for bulking and cutting and it is emphasized that every one responds differently to different Protocals and alot more very useful information. It is not a bunch of Blah Blah if you are a person who knows how to read and comprehend and it is not a modified version of earliar publications.

Well...Tough to understand at first....You need to read it like a text book
highlite the detailed important info about what you think will work for you....you need to read the whole book....it all comes togather towards the end.

I read to cover to cover 3 times looking back and putting the pieces togather b-4 it all came togather..... This iS NOT A STEP BY STEP HOW TO.....I would call it more of a "desk referance" with ton's of info

using body type and overlaped the phases worked Outsdanding.....no loss of gains
no blote, no fat. and by day 49 could be ready to go again......

I have read both books, and understand them perfectly, but in my opinion they are not very good.
