building a meaty chest through cable work

Bros, for some reason I can't get my chest beefy, the rest of my body is fine and muscular I have been working out for two years doing only bench and machines. An old guy at the gym told me to use cables for chest exercises I've never done cabel work, do you think some cables can help to develop some muscle on my chest?

I really don't think so... it's pretty much the same bio-mechanically. If you can't make progress, there's something with your diet, form or effort. There are plenty of videos for people who can't get their bench to go up, they can be really useful, you should check em out.
I'm steadily going up on my flat bench... just focus on progressive overload. Beat your last session.

Most guys who have lacking pecks have 2 main problems:
1. They are focusing on the amount of weight lifted and not focusing on feeling the muscle work. Your front deltoids want to take over incline pressing movement. You really need to focus on keeping your shoulders rolled back and pressed into the bench. Focus on feeling your pecks do the movement. Drop your weight by 20% next workout and really focus on getting a deep stretch and contraction in the upper pecks with each rep.
2. They genetically have small clavicles. Sadly, there is nothing you can do about that. You can't change your bone structure. That is determined by your genetics.
