Breast Augmentation???

Damn!!..those will be big balloons!..I'd love to have my wife getting a couple of those...

I've heard that silicone looks and feel a lot more realistic than saline implants...is that true?

Also what is the difference in going under or over the muscle?

djufo.

Although I don't know much about silicone, saline under the muscle probably looks the same as silicone because the pectoral muscle covers most of the implant. Overs look very round and eye-appealing, but are not necessarily an option to everyone. It really depends on what kind of breasts, size, elasticity, etc she has right now. Under provides more of a lifting appearrance for someone who might need a lift in the somewhat near future. The overs, in some cases, tend to sag more with time, but have a much shorter recovery time. I wanted overs, but my surgeon told me that unders would look best for my breast type.

And getting them under the pecs means you'll never be able to train your chest again right?. I can't imaging squeezin' pecs over the boobs...that'll be nasty...lol.

No. That is totally not true. Who told you that? Believe me, that is the first thing I asked. The recovery time is a little longer. I wont be able to work my chest for 4-5 weeks.

Nobody tol me...I was just thinking...if the implants are under the muscle...that means the pecs will be over the boobs??...or it is just under a little portion of it to give some shape?...I can't imagine how is that kind of surgery but since I'm a big balloons lover I'm interested.

I believe they cut the pec, put in the implant, then reattach. You can still train chest with under the muscle implants.

Can you train chest just as hard & heavy? I had heard from someone who had implants that they couldn't.....my PS wants to give me a lift with an anchor scar, which I don't want with implants....I may get another consultation & see if I can get a crease scar....

You can still train just as heavy, but the recovery time is a little longer than overs.

This is what they do, only the pectoral muscle only covers less than half of the implant. The top half is covered by the muscle only.

Over the muscle implants should not affect chest training at all. Opinions differ, however, on UNDERs. Some surgeons tell their patients "no heavy chest work ever", or even NO chest work. Mine said "You should be able to do whatever you did before the surgery after the surgery". A lot of this might(?) also depend on the size of the implant, with larger implants possibly having more limitations.

I waited a LONG time before doing chest again, like 2-3 months. Once I started back, if anything felt funny, I backed off. Now everything's back to normal, but I don't do fly movements anymore.
