Breakfast problems

Every morning I wake up, and I try to eat breakfast. But I'm never hungry. I am, however, hungry at about 9:00, which is too late, because I'm in my classes. And then, I have to hold off on lunch until 12:08(lunch).

Does anyone know a way where I can get used to eating breakfast? I get up at 6:00, and leave for school at 7. Do you think if I tried getting up at 4:30 or so, I'd be able to eat better? Or should I just push myself harder to eat?

The thing is though, I can't usually get to sleep until at least 12:00, so getting up that early might be less beneficial than not.

Any suggestions?
 
Its called willpower. Regardless of what your doing, sometimes things are not going to be the most fun. A lot of people hate cardio, still see them doing it though. Seriously bro, I know people like you. One of the main reasons your not hungry is simply because your not used to it. Start force feeding yourself breakfast everyday (if you have to start smaller), and after a while you will NEED breakfast everyday. You can try liver tabs, vitamin b, or a few other appetite enhancers if thats the problem. Other question is what you eat right before bed, that might effect if your overloading cals later in the day you might not be hungry in the morning. If nothing works, go liquid breakfast...ie protein shakes...MRP's...homemade mrp's.
 
you in high school? Sounds like it. Man I'm kinda the same way but I'm in college so it works better for me. I eat somethign small first...pop tarts or bowl of cereal. then half hour or hour later protein shake. When I got class...I just force down the shake with the cereal/poptarts.
 
2 scoops prot and some skim milk ...or even water to make it like is a great way to start....then using like MRP's and then to real food like 2 cups oatmeala nd 2 scoops prot and maybe a shot of flax hehe.......you want about 600 cals in the morning if ya can. It aint easy but its number one on my least of most important meals even more so than post workout shake ( #2).....ginger might help ya too
 
You simply have to eat something bro!!

Going four hours without food is a sure fire way to sacrfice lean muscle mass. Your poor metabolism will slow to a standstill and that is just bad news!!

Just think of it as FUELING your muscles. Force that food down if you have to!! I wouldn't suggest waking up earlier because sleep is also very important for growth. Give it time and you'll get used to eating those early morning meals.
 
For me during the day i eat/drink protein every 2hrs. Im usually in bed between 10 & 11 and am up again at 5 to be to work at 6. So for those 6 or 7 hours that ive been asleep my body is using up whatever nutrients i got. When i wake up im starving and have to eat something. What time was your last meal? If your eating to late you may not be hungry when you wake up. Also 1hr in the morning is not a lot of time to do things so try preparing something the night before and set it out on the counter. Flat out the best advice I can give is just to force yourself into doing it. Get yourself into a routine and in no time it will be like second-nature.P3@CE
 
You shouldn't think about it much, just eat! I never ate breakfast at 6 in the morning. Now, since a chick started bringing food every morning to my job, i got used to it. Now I need to eat something in the morning since my body craves it. Don't eat too late at night also, so you'll be hungry in the morning. I don't eat after 7 or 8PM. Besides, eating that late is bad for your stomach. I get acid reflux so I watch what I eat, when and how much at a time. I love pears, but those things are ruff in my stomach.
 
I've started drinking an extra weight gainer shake with my breakfast, and one in the evening. It works wonders and doesn't fill you up.
 
Dont get up earlier to eat b/c then your sacraficing your sleep (AKA recovery) time, which is when you grow. Id go with a MRP before class.
