I want to lose some BF so i decided to bike around my town on a mountain bike i have. Prob going to do about 10 miles eod. WOuld running 2-3 miles shred the bf o faster then biking for about 10miles????
5k in a 5 to 6 minutes per km is a very good fat burner
If you run 10 miles (aprox 16k) is not so good i suppose
The best way to burn is doing LSD (Long Slow Distances) running or biking... bu in the same spent time you burn more if you run
It depends on your conditioning. If your in good cardio shape running is the best. If your joints hurt esp knees do a bike or some other low impact cardio. Glucomsomine (sp) works very nice to preserve your joints. Its a solid supp.
I think the method of training is more important than the exercise. Both of these will work well to lose some bf. Regulating heart rate and mixing it up with some interval training would be most efficient, in my opinion.
