Bicep work: bent vs straight bar curls

From which type or bar do you get more benefits straight or bent? my biceps have been a nightmare to develop, the rest of my body looks nice and muscular but my biceps need lots of progress, they just don't grow or peak. Please advice me, thanks bros.

The load put on your biceps will be the same whether you use an EZ bar or straight bar. Some people prefer the EZ bar because they find it easier on their wrists.

The most common mistake I see in people with poorly developed biceps is using too much weight. They are using momentum to move the weight. Not their biceps. The biceps are not a big muscle. If you are loading plate after plate onto the bar, chances are your shoulders and momentum are moving the weight, not your biceps.

Focus on developing a really good mind muscle connection. Hold the peak contraction for 1-2 seconds and slowly lower the weight and control the negative. Perform all your reps for biceps that way your next workout and there is no way that you won't be extremely sore the day after.

Remember that the weight is just a tool to stimulate the muscle. HOW you lift the weight is just as important (if not more important) then how much weight you lift.
