I have called the police on someone here from EF for harassment. I can tell you what you need to do and how to do it if you like.

It took a few phone calls to get it right, but I can tell you the proper procedure to save you the leg work. I know it's frustrating...hope it works out for you.

I reached out to some friends in the area to see if anyone had a police officer friend (with the idea that I would solicit them to stop by his place in full uniform and put a scaring into him), but I came up dry. Depends. If you think he won't take it serious w/o a lawyer then you could have them draft and send it, but you don't need them to. Depends on what you think he'll do when he sees it. Sometimes just sending it certified and writing it yourself is enough.

I've had a couple of offers. I'm just not one at this point to accept the collateral damage of kneecap breaker ending up in jail. "He wouldn't stop texting her mean/crazy things" is a shoddy defense angle, and I don't want anyone taking that bullet for me.

I'm working toward a legal solution at this point that hurts the least amount of innocent parties. I was back in a slightly passive place with this the last time we talked about it, but shit escalated again and I am back in fight mode. I'm just trying to be smart about it.
