Best text/call blocking app for android? (Bonus: Crazy person drama)

I said in my original post that I will if this doesn't work. My number is on my business cards and is a work number too. Doing so would be a HUGE deal, and might not even ultimately be effective. I'm still willing to do it, but only as a last resort.

I understand. I wouldn't want to do that unless it was a last resort, and I would suspect if you do actually change your number he will go even more crazy and start harassing those close to you. I know there is an app that will make it to where he doesn't know he is blocked. The messages and texts would go into a hidden visual voicemail and text folder that is hidden by you and everyone and you can select the auto response text message he would receive that fit what you wanted. I just can't fukin remember it.

That's exactly what I'm asking if is possible.

And I never gave him my number. He got it from a family member.

Cindy nailed it. Changing my number just increases the risk he will go more crazy and harass my loved ones. I've warned them of the possibility, but that doesn't stop him from actually doing it. Shit is not as open and shut simple as you think it is. He lives in a very small town where approximately 30+ relatives of mine live. Someone as fucking psychotic and full fledged delusional as this doesn't just go away when they lose one channel. I need to try all possibilities to find a discrete way to shut it down.

Mitch, my cards are the least of my concerns. It's a concern, but the least of them. I didn't ask for advice on the situation, I asked for suggestions on good call restricting apps. You don't have enough information to really understand the scope of things to provide any useful advice here. I appreciate your input, but you need to take my word for it that changing my number is not the ideal fix-all you think it is.

Dude, I TRIED. I CALLED THE POLICE. In california, unless he makes physical threats, I don't have a fucking leg to stand on because he is on the other side of the country.

As I said, you don't have the full details - both on what he has done and said, as well as things I have tried to make it stop. Please stop judging me.
