Which method of performing the Squat does eveyone think is the best:-
1. Keep shins perpendicular to the ground and squat down to parallel
OR
2. let shins go forward (to your toes) and squat deep.
Does anyone do both?
I've been looking through pictures and it seems like the Powerlifter do option 1 and bobybuilders do option 2, is this because the bodybuilders are trying to focus on quad growth & the powerlifters are focusing on lifting strength?
Your opinions are very welcome as I'm not sure which to do or whether I should be doing both.
P.S. I train first for size second for strength
