Best alternative to ALCOHOL when 'ON'???

No difference, but normally when people say drugs they think Marijuana, Coke, etc etc. We usually separate alcohol from the rest, probably because it's socially acceptable even though it has the potential of being just as or more dangerous than other "drugs"

I was told by a doctor that GHB and GBL are both metabolized in the liver. In fact, with respect to liver toxicity, I believe that she said they are actually harsher than alcohol.

False. GBL is converted to GHB though natural enzymes. GHB actually improves liver function. I has been used on a number of patients with hepatitis C, who experienced complete normalization of their liver enzymes and restoration to good health. Long term animal studies with daily high-dose feedings of GHB for two years resulted in a reduction of liver and mammary tumors, and no organ toxicity whatsoever. There are few illicit drugs that are harsher for your health than ethanol (alcohol).

AAS are classified as drugs because thats what the government wanted to label them. They are not a true drug in the sense of the word.

GHB used to be sold OTC. People misused it and hurt themselves or other people so the drug companies jumped on the FDA at a point of oppurtunity and got it banned without them taking a second look at it. Just because the FDA says something isn't safe doesnt mean SHIT. For example why don't you look up stevia, an all natural sweetener which the FDA banned for absolutely no reason and recently had to unban because congress was going to investigate. Look into it for yourself, there are plenty of examples.

GHB can safely be used just as AAS can safely be used. It's all in who uses it and how smart they are in how they use it. Mixing it with alcohol is of course looking for trouble. Those who use it for a sleep aid can benifit from it. It puts you in a deep sleep and studies have shown that in this state the body is able to release more natural GH.

I'm against using it for a rec. drug just to get the "drunk" feeling quicker, thats the kind of shit that got it first banned from being sold over the counter then completely illegal and one of the worst drugs to be caught with these days.

If your going to party dont use AAS, it's pretty much that simple. You have to make the choice on your own of course but remember it's your body, don't do damage you can't repair, especially just so you can have a few drinks on the weekend. If you care enough to look good and use AAS to supplement and aid in that transformation (im only talking physical here) be smart enough to remember that just because you can't see your insides that destroying them will hurt you just as much if not more as not training or eating right. Who you going to impress when your liver isn't working and your on a hospital bed? You really think all that work you put into your training and diet will matter when you can't even take simple medications because they have to purify your blood over and over because you destroyed it?

It's time to take a step back from the scientific talk and look at this through a real-world perspective. The original poster is looking for something he can take, besides alcohol, so he can loosen up and go wild when he parties. I don't know much about GHB, whether you snort it in lines or take tabs, but regardless. Let's say the poster takes the suggestion, and starts to use it. One dose, and he loves it. The next time he goes out, he takes two doses. Then it just builds up from there. That's why shit like this is illegal, because people use it for the wrong reasons. Now, if these claims are true about it being potentially a helpful drug, then great. But looking at the reasons why the poster would take it, should totally have warning signs flashing for everyone reading it.

Plus, taking studies at face-value is dangerous. I mean, there's a study out there that says Cell-Tech is 1887% better than regular creatine.... come on

Interesting you mention that. My health has only improved since I've stated using GHB on a regular basis. I'm actually leaving for some blood work in an hour.

Here's a good medical/drug profile:

You can take the studies I've refered to at more than face-value. I'm not near alone as living proof of the positive benefits.

I only got into this argument because there were so many false, uneducated claims being made about GHB. Although I don't agree with US drug policy, I am not suggesting it be used illicitly.

WHAT THE FUCK?! That's true for fucking everything. Lets say the poster, instead of getting drunk, decides to drink Pepsi at a party. Now, Pepsi is a mighty tasty cola, and he drinks one cup and he likes it. Next time, he drinks two cups, and so on and so on.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT, WARNING SIGNS FLASHING FOR EVERYONE READING IT!!!
