Bears are amazing

I'm watching a show, Extreme Animals or something like that. I never thought about this before, but it's amazing.

During hibernation, bears of course don't eat, drink, or excrete. This particular bear that a couple of guys bodly woke during hibernation has been hibernating for 6 months. They can pull this off becuase they have the ability to convert waste from the bladder back into amino acids. Nature rocks.

I'm not interested in seeing any bears in the flesh. If I'm forced to see one -- especially if it's coming my way -- I hope it's through a scope on a loaded 30-06.
