Kids will think it's impossible to acheive that without these 'dangerous drugs' and therefore they will use them too.

It IS impossible to mash baseballs the way Barry did from 2000 onwards without them without being jakked...might as well let kids know the truth.

Just like political witch hunts. They can't nail him for what they were after, so they try to trip him up on some mistatements or witholdings during the lengthy investigation."Gotcha!"

That's why Bush pardoned Scooter Libby.

<snip>

On Thursday, his very freedom was put in jeopardy when a federal grand jury indicted him on five felony counts of perjury and obstruction of justice...

But for all the speculation and accusations that clouded his pursuit of Aaron, Bonds was never identified by Major League Baseball as testing positive for steroids

1) The GJ wasn't investigating BB, they were investigating Balco. They weren't even after him, but he lied to them. That's perjury.

2) If they were after him for using A.A-S then this is the perfect scenario. He said he didn't which they contend is perjury. If the opposite was true he was guilty of using illegal substances.

3) Was sending Al Capone to jail for tax evasion a 'witch hunt' as well? LMFAO... of course when you break the law you most likely end up breaking a string of laws. Justice is served by prosecuting you for any and all, hoping to be sucessfull on one or more.

LOL @ the douche bag in the story that said 'For all the contreversy regarding Barry Bonds - he's never been caught using steroids'

Uh. Yeah. The claim is that he used a steroid from BALCO coined 'The Clear' for which there was no test. So... Duh.

I don't think that he'll see a day in jail.

Comparing Al Capone to Barry Bonds is an irrelevant stretch, at best.

Bottom line is they haven't been able to pin Bonds on roids so they basically tripped him up to get him in court.

definitely has incredible eye/hand coordination - I put him in the top 3; only because pitchers are not as vicious as they use to be in terms of hitting you if you did some of the things he does at the plate

see Bob Gibson for example.

ya he'd catch chin music on a regular back in the day

They still can't prove he used them. All the evidence is circumstantial.. I bet he doesn't tell them shit. People may not like him, but I admire his toughness.
