They were basically slaves to build the railroads along with the Chinese. Neither gets much said about it in history books. They usually lived in worse conditions than slaves did, and thousands were murdered and raped during the whole thing. But they were Irish and Chinese. No big deal, noone feels entitled to a thing. I don't get it. Look at the history of the Irish in America. They were treated like filthy animals and illustrations portrayed them as little gremlin looking people. Again, I don't see the Irish whining about a goddamn thing a couple hundred years later.

Typical Irish person, when they aren't drunk they're complaining about having to work. This isn't racist because my ex-wife is half irish and I can talk about her.
