Barack Obama says, "...typical white person."

Obama is a typical black person. He has done drugs, he got into Harvard on a bogus affirmative program, and he plays the race card.

Is what I just said racist? I think so.

But if Obama says something racist, or hangs out with racist people, (for virtually his entire life), everyone has a million excuses on why he is justified in doing so. Obama is a saint in fact. Not a racist bone in his body. Not a racist member in his church. Yeah right.

If anything, all of these racial issues that have popped up have totally undermine his credibility.

He gives speeches on unity and brags about being able to bring the races together but everything he has done, throughout his entire politic career, has done nothing but cater to one race. He is not brining people together. He has never brought people together. I do not see why people are so foolish to bow down to this clown. All because he can give a good speech - speeches he has someone else write for him.

So, despite the fact that he's half white, people are stereotyping him to be just like any other black person? Thanks for making my point.

Obama himself, in his own words, in his book "Dreams of My Father", states he does not identify with whites. People are not "stereotyping" him, he created this image all by himself.

Please tell me that these quotes from Obama's book "Dreams of My Father" are not racist.

“I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.”

“There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs,” he wrote. “It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.”

“To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.”

“To admit our doubt and confusion to whites, to open up our psyches to general examination by those who had caused so much of the damage in the first place, seemed ludicrous, itself an expression of self-hatred.”

I could list more but no matter what comes out, Obama supports will claim that none of the above is racist and Obama is a saint. He can do no wrong.

No double standard. White people are all a little racist. We all owned slaves. Even my family did. And I'm the first one born in America.

What? Only a small percentage owned slaves and they were all very wealthy. My family never owned slaves. The rich white men bought slaves from black men. I love black people, just not the ones that hate you no matter what.

He lived through the days of segragation.. I don't blame him for siding with the black side of his heritage.

So, it sounds like he wants another Soviet Union and a country full of broken families if he is elected. Just the person to lead our country (into the toilet).

Damning. Valid points.

Well, Obama is the "words matter" candidate since we can't judge him on an extensive senatorial initiatives or votes. He made a very poor choice of words he might want to stick with prepared statements when it comes to certain issues. In his speech I think it was a mistake to single people out like his grandmother and equate Geraldine Ferraro's statements as equivelant. He had to denounce the reverand but he turned the speech into a balck-white issue. He should have said that all races needed to have a dialog and some inspiring words that claim that is the only race will become an issue of past.

Likewise, he made race a black and white issue with his comments in the interview. What about all the other racial tensions in America? A uniter would be inclusive about a racial dialogue.

Here's a hypothetical, 70 year old white grandmother.
A "stereotypical" white Hell's Angel or a black businessman in an armani suit talking to his stockbroker on a cell phone, which will cause her more fear?

PS I have a suspicion that Obama's speech writers have a sentence generating program that generates sentences with the words hope and change. Then they add the line, "I was against the war in Iraq from the beginning." It's convenient since he didn't have to make that initial vote. Had he been in the Senate there probably would have been 4 no votes as opposed to three. :)

I just think he is in no way, shape, or form fit to lead this nation.

How so, and which other candidates that ran do you feel were unqualified?

Do you feel JFK was qualified? Do you think Hillary is qualified?
