Metabolism will only slow down after Cardio if you go to sleep inmediately after. If you are awake you will get an increase, which is higher if the cardio was HIIT.

Hey, I wasn't the one who said anything about metabolism slowing down at any particular time of day. I just avoid sugars for the last 5 hrs or so before bed because I have a very slow metabolism. (I was a fat kid)

I have been wearing the same size jeans since ninth grade in HS...and I ate like shit for the first 5 yrs up to this pnt...(I have only been dieting since I have been reading this bible here)..so when ppl say no fruit late at night, I am confused...will I always have such good genetics (I consider slightly hard gaining good genetics, I ate like shit, but I played soccer and swam daily)...so, just should I slow down on the sugar at night too???

Also, how does it work, if I want to post what I have been eating everyday, you guys will critique it?? Thanks.

i'd go with apples. I read somewhere or learned in nutrition class, dont remember, that if u eat a banana before it is fully ripe it has a lower GI than if its fully ripe.
