Bag Brown Rice

Ive been using success brown rice in a bag for quite some time now. it is parboiled whole grain rice (thats what is says onthe ingriedients). but i have heard that since its parboiled, the glycemic index goes up basically making it the same nutritonal value as white rice. but on the glycemic index, a serving of parboiled brown rice is actually very low. so what im asking is, what's the deal with the bag brown rice? Is it a good slow burning complex carb, or am i just better off eating white rice since it contains the same nutrtional value and white rice tastes better, imo.

Buy basmati rice. It tastes better then white and is better for you.
