Weight: 228 (played around with some ways to cut water weight last night after working out, seemed to do ok)

So.. very happy the waist and hips are still dropping.. Delts look bigger, but no change in measurements. Thighs have changed dramatically! Even in the photos there are much more definition.. and my pants are so baggy around my thighs now! :happy:

Sadly, not a ton of definition has come through since two weeks.. atleast nothing on my camera that's picking up.. I also have lost a bit of my tan, so I'll see if I can get back to tanning the last two weeks..

The skin on my abs is getting thin, they are really starting to poke through in certain times of the days. Veins pop out every so often.. kind of weird some days they are gnarly on my forearms, otherdays nothing.. and my left bicep vein (near the scar) is starting to bulge through, but not very defined..

All in all, I'm proud and happy with my progress, but seriously not satisfied, I got a long ways to go!

fasted cardio this morning.

I'm wearing some old 36 waist silvertab baggy jeans.. There's about 2 inches of room in the waist and 4 inches in the thighs. (baggy was the roomiest they used to make.

I haven't worn these jeans since I weighed 200 pounds several years ago.. and they didn't fit like they do now! Recomposition? I'd like to say so.

I don't think I own anything less than 36 in pants.. I can't recall a time where I was ever smaller than 36 (even as a teenager) I weighed 200 pounds in 6th grade.

I have a pair of 34 calvin klein jean shorts.. I wouldn't wear them in public, but.. I might just give them a try on to see what happens.. I wore those when I was in mexico and weighed 180 and was a stick.. no muscle, just bones covered in droopy skin.

I didn't work out last night.. I didn't feel that great, and went to bed way early and slept for 14 hours... so I'll hit hard today.. I feel much better.

then did 20 mins on the nautilus escalator stair stepper low intensity.

DRENCHED in sweat.. it was disgustingly amazing.

Biceps felt like they were going to burst.. veins were impressive

Laying Tri bar ext: 70 x 12r x 4s
last set was very tough, grunting!

Hammer curls: 40s x 10r x 2s, 30s x 12r

Dips: 10r x 2, then my arms felt completely dead..

Man after this my arms looked huge and hard, best pump I've gotten in my arms, ever.
This morning they feel great.
 
So just wanted to take another moment with just a week away of ending this contest and give a huge shoutout and thanks again to Zed, Needto, Radar and any other mentors that have chimed in and helped out. Zed with extensive overseeing, Needto with the sponsorship, setting me up with the plan and providing some little extras that mean a lot to me and go a long way in my transformation!

Thanks to everyone looking at my log, giving their support, encouragement, and kind words.. I know I'm not the most popular contestant, but I feel like I'm giving this my 100% +1.. I'm grateful for the results so far and can't even imagine how the rest of the year is going to be for me in my journey.

Little update on getting the bodpod.. it's just not in the cards atm to go down to utah next week.. I will see if there's a way I can make it by the end of the month.. Either way on this log or my next log I'll post up the newest data whenever I get it.

Shrugs with hammermill: 1 plate each hand x 10, 2 plates each x 10, 3 plates each x 12r x 3s, 2 plates each x 10

20 mins elliptical. Did 6 30 secondish (all out til I couldn't) sprints at lvl 10 and 12, then rest at lvl 5. HR was 166 high and 145 low.

HR high was 164, HR low 143..

Cardio, 30 mins free elliptical, 4 mins lvl 8, 4 mins lvl 14, got a good sweat going on. HR was around 150
 
Also an update.. and so funny.. law of attraction I suppose.

After searching google and message boards for a body fat (bod pod) in boise for weeks.. living social is doing a deal on one 10 minutes away from me. BF and metabolic rate testing, and not too bad of a price <$50. I'm getting scheduled on the 15th! So excited, if anything it will help me fine tune the next step of my journey!

Also.. this weekend I met up with an old buddy, we got to talking, and there might be some great things happening to guide me and possibly provide future financial ideas. I don't want to jump any guns, but it was once again.. law of attraction that I met up with him after years! This year has some great things coming my way.. I feel it. and some things have already started! :)

Today I felt on, and just wanted to crush the weights, and definitely saw some gains.

DB Bench Press: 45 x 10, 55 x 10, 70 x 12 fail superset
with 12 military pushups, standard 6 fail, wide 6 fail, knees 4 fail

DB Military Press: 20 x 12, 27.5 x 10, 30 x 10, 30 8 fail, dropset 22.5 x 4 fail

Side Lateral Raises: 10lbs x 12, 12.5 x 10, 20 x 14 fail dropset 12.5 x 6 fail +3 more half raises

Tri Pres downs: 80 x 12, 100 x 12, 140 (!) x 12, 130 x 16 fail +4 negatives, dropset 80 x 9 +3 negatives fail

Leg Press: 4 plates 12, 6 plates x 12, 8 plates x 12 dropset 4 plates x 15 fail

Seated calf raises: 1 plate x 20, 2 plates x 20, 2 plates x 18 fail dropset 1 plate x 50! (burn burn and more burn)

I have no idea when I dropset I just started pumping them out like crazy after the fail.

25 mins, elliptical: 5 HIIT sprints for avg 30 seconds and around 18 spd.
Rest between on lvl 5, sprints were on lvl 14. Didn't track HR, but after every sprit I pretty much wanted to puke.
Did sprints in first 20, cooled down last 5.

Muscles were pumped, delts looking seperated, arms thick.. was very happy with this workout.

Sadly my last tren shot was Friday! It was only half a cc, but I knew it was good cause it gave me a little cough. Kind of gave me a grin in a sick way knowing that its the real deal, and yeah.. that workout definitely had some inspiration with the tren. :)

I was quite happy with tren in my cycle, it's some serious shit and my body seemed to handle it very well, not to mention its great quality with Gentlemen's Anabolics. Hair line didn't seem to suffer at all (which I was surprised, I must be the only male in the family that won't go bald rapidly - knock on wood), I'm already considering another cycle in summer time and definitely want to incorporate tren again. Oh, I forgot to post yesterday workout.

So yesterday morning was awesome. I woke up and could easily see a four pack.. my middle abs above my navel are really showing (besides the top two)! I'm praying it shows through on photos, cause I'm super ecstatic about it. First time in my life I've ever seen those abs..and my lower abs are getting lean, but still no real definition. I can feel those veins close to the skin though. My vascularity has increased the past few days, weird it's getting better without having any more tren put in my system. My right forearm hasn't show much and near my elbow three strings of veins come through.. Doubt they'll show in pictures as I'd need to be working out pretty hard to have show.

*rant start* So here's a big SCREW YOU to Dr. Warnock who told me I'd never be able to see my abs without cosmetic surgery. :finger: Among other things he totally botched and left dog ears from my surgery years ago and blamed me getting fat again when I haven't gained a single pound over from when I had the surgery and refused to fix it when it even said that was covered in the price. *rant ended*

Got my spray tan today.. I was already pretty dark, dunno how much darker it will get. Here's hoping, it was the darkest they had with the bronzer.. the machine went up and down like 7 times each side.

Got a big carb load tonight, doing my bod pod in the morning, then getting photos done in the late afternoon.

Any suggestions?
 
Wow guys, simply wow!

I got my bod pod test today and a metabolism rating.. and I tried cutting more water last night. I'll put up photos of my paper results for any doubters but here's the results:

WEIGHT: 216.9! (umm, is the scale wrong at the gym) they use a gravitational scale, very precise.. We weighed myself 4 times just to be sure.. all results were 216.9 or 216.8

Body Fat: 16.7%. I lost almost 30 pounds, if I didn't gain any muscle.. that would mean that I was close to 22-23% BF. Granted my inches went up, so if I gained 2-3 pounds or so of muscle, then I'd of started around 21% (really wish I got a beginning bf% so I knew exactly my results). I was hoping to be sub 15% especially where my vascularity and abs are really starting to come through, but I'm super happy! My journey to 10% is not much more! If I were to not gain any more muscle I'd need to be a 200, if I were to gain 5 pounds of muscle, I could weigh 210! Not far off and maybe 2-3 months more could accomplish that! I'm going to change my diet to gain strength and keep muscle size coming into PCT, but keep it very clean for the next month.. then I might increase to start gaining weight in muscle.

So my exact weights were:
Lean mass: 180.6
Fat mass: 36.3

My metabolic rate was 3132 calories a day. I haven't taken any supps for a day (been off T3 for a week), so things could effect that if half lives are longer... but he was astonished at how high that was.
My Volume of Oxygen was 441 (very high and a good thing) avg 10 breathes a minute.. he told me to breathe shallower too, when I took longer breathes the scale showed my BMR was even higher.
I think its the emission of O2 when I exhale was 16.27% which he said was good. And everything else (conversion to carbon dioxide) was in the average. My BMR was 142%.. 42% above average and 500 calories above the highest rated.

This is going to help me tune in my nutrition immensely!

All in all, i'm very happy, and was SHOCKED when he told me my weight... made him redo it 3x when I heard the first time as I was in disbelief.

I had my photos done, big thanks to my buddy Eric, Alison, and John for helping me with shooting the photos and video.

I need to go over to Eric's place to resize the photos (he has a nice 18mp camera, so they're like 20mb a piece) and I'll have them up hopefully by tonight.

I was really pleased with how they turned out, but wasn't nearly as dry as I'd like to be.. but it's hard to be dry when I'm almost 17% body fat.. but showing definition and the difference from my starting pics is damn near unbelievable.
30 pounds, and 5-6% guestimated body fat loss in 90 days.

It's been a fun day, good mood, and some fun things are going on that I'll keep people updated with in the future.

Bod pod was luckily a living social deal! 44 bucks for both the metabolism test and bodpod.. normally I think its $89 for both, and I think $49 for just the bod pod.. So not bad at all!

I'm planing on doing it every 3 months for the rest of the year..

Just wanted to say... that this is truly the best I've ever looked in my life so far to date. I couldn't believe when I saw the photos how incredible it looked. I'm SUPER STOKED that my abs showed through! Even almost the bottom 2, just no middle line, but the bottoms show! I have NEVER had abs in my LIFE! My butt even looks great..

Looking back at my goals... physically I definitely achieved a lot of my desires, body fat still has a ways to go... but I am proud of myself, super excited for the rest of the year, and 100% committed to keep on with this change. I'll be starting a new log soon with my latest adventures. Hope to see everyone subscribe and continue helping me on my way.. Thank you again.

PLJ, I tried on those calvin klein jean shorts and they had some room in the waist! Not a whole lot, maybe 1/2 inch, but they fit EASILY, 34" pant size! OMG!!@$ I do have a movie of that, I'll ask my buddy if he can send it to me. I'm going to go take back some $150 pants I bought at the buckle last year that were 38" and see if I can try on some 34's!!!!!%$%@#
 
Bader you freaking tore it up dude. You look awesome, and you look happy too. Happy for ya man.

I will say this though, You're getting F"ed on your bod pod prices. It's not too tests, the bodpod only has one test one function, and if they are charging you more than 40-50 for both I would punch them. Don't let them rip you off dude. I paid 25 for mine. You need to talk to them about that.
 
I sat down in a chair for 10 mins breathing into the apparatus for the metabolism, it wasn't the same as the bod pod machine..
 
That's F'ed up cause the Bod Pod tests that simultaneously. Did they give you the print out of your BMR RMR and such? and the suggested calories you should be taking in to loose weight?
Ps. I spelled two (Too) I'm sorry. hahahah.

Re: Rick'o.. for the bod-pod, he weighed me, then I sat in the pod and tested it 3x, opening the door each time, each compression took maybe 2-3 mins max.

Then I got dressed, went to another room, laid back in a recliner with the oxygen apparatus for about 10 mins. It did give me a printout of my BMR, o2 levels, everything I described in my post. 3123 calories a day it said.

I don't know how the bod pod would measure BMR? here's the link to his site, maybe tell me whats up? If he's screwing around with me? mibodexpress.com was there more I should of had done? The deal was both tests for $44 bucks.. if I just want the bod pod test done again next time it's $49.. but I will talk to him about getting me a deal cause I'd like to frequently be tested.

If I did not know you and it was not this contest with the pics done the way we did them.. I would look at these pics and call pull shit.. I would look and say " that is not even the same damn person wtf is this shit scam artist!!!"

Thanks needto, it really means a lot. Thanks for letting me have the opportunity to be in this and really push myself. I owe ya buddy. I learned a lot in this journey beyond physical, but seriously mental. I've never felt or looked so good in my life.. the whole transformation I felt healthy, alive, energetic, dare I say happy and euphoric at times.. as much stuff happened to me outside of the contest, if I hadn't been on such a healthy nutrition plan or exercise routine, I think my stress levels would of killed me. And who knows how much more not changing my lifestyle would effect me for years to come. I'm in this for the long run, and stay healthy.

I'm having to think of a new goal for the next 90-120 days.. and I'm thinking.. without overstepping, but challenging myself. I'd like to put on 10 pounds of muscle.. 20 pounds would be insane, but in that short of time.. I'm not sure.. ultimate goal, 200 LBM, 220 pounds total = 10% BF. Maybe by end of year.. I think I can get the BF there quicker, but the muscle mass will take a while to grow it up. 190 LBM @ 210 sounds very possible in 4 months. Going to up my calorie intake and keep diet just as clean

Let the new found passion in life, begin! :)

One thing I was thinking of that can seem like it isn't a huge change, is I went from size 38-40 underwear and gym shorts starting out to those Underarmor's in my last pic that are 32's, and were a titch tight at the time, they are getting loser though!

Leg Press w 115 sled: WU 2 plates x 10 x 2, 4 plates x 12

Oh I hear you bro big-time.. People that I haven't seen for a few months - their jaws drop and are asking me what I'm doing. Getting huge compliments from the misses and family and its inspired a lot of people to get healthier.

I do think my pics show quite a lot for how high my bf still is (16.7%), and it actually took me a few days to really hit me and be like 'holy shit' I just made a huge transformation.. seeing it in the mirror every day it really never sunk in, but when I'm at the gym, or just walking around now.. I feel so much leaner and stronger.. I feel pics don't do it justice.

I can't even come close to imagining what I'll look like at 10%. Be it 200 pounds with no muscle gained (which is highly unlikely).. or 210, or even 220 (20 pounds of muscle).. it's seriously incomprehensible... but it's my goal, and it will happen before the end of this year, no questions asked.

It's a journey for sure, Rick'O! The nutrition is the key and it's always the toughest to dial in, but it's been working great so far, and now I know my BMR that really helps me hone in. Today weighed in at 220. I was 222 yesterday. I traveled for a job interview for 3 days, so I'm sure a little water built up, but now I'm backing it down and looking lean and mean!

I'm also following the blood type diet, and luckily for me (O+) I get to eat plenty of meat! What's even more surprising, is following the scivation diet, either gameover or diet solution is almost a perfect match for my blood type as well. Only thing (sadly) is I'm cutting out peanut butter and sticking to almond butter only. No wheat/gluten or diary of any kind. Everything else works perfect. After the contest photos I had a subway.. and boy, I'm pretty sure I'm gluten intolerant, because that sandwich messed me up.. no more gluten for this man forever, and I'm fine with it..especially seeing the results from it so far.

I'll keep in touch with you Rick'O, cause I'm sure your wisdom will come in handy when I feel like I hit a plateau.
 
I'm actually trying to get rid of gluten altogether too! But I think I"m actually an allergy to it that's why.

The GameOver diet plan is awesome!

Oh I hear you bro big-time.. People that I haven't seen for a few months - their jaws drop and are asking me what I'm doing. Getting huge compliments from the misses and family and its inspired a lot of people to get healthier.

I do think my pics show quite a lot for how high my bf still is (16.7%), and it actually took me a few days to really hit me and be like 'holy shit' I just made a huge transformation.. seeing it in the mirror every day it really never sunk in, but when I'm at the gym, or just walking around now.. I feel so much leaner and stronger.. I feel pics don't do it justice.

I can't even come close to imagining what I'll look like at 10%. Be it 200 pounds with no muscle gained (which is highly unlikely).. or 210, or even 220 (20 pounds of muscle).. it's seriously incomprehensible... but it's my goal, and it will happen before the end of this year, no questions asked.

I am excited for you. I haven't gone through and read your whole log yet but will do it today interested in seeing your diet.

I'll save you time, OSU, and let you know the most I ever talk about my diet is on the first page.

I followed a cross mix of diet soluton and the game over diet by Scivation. Low carb, high saturated fats, and higher protein, very clean, natural and organic foods, nothing processed, no artificials, no sugar other than naturally occurring. No diary or wheat.

I never felt tired or lethargic, lots of energy, no crazy mood swings.. I was grouchy here and there, but to me it worked very well.
 
Wednesday I wasn't feeling all that great.. had a headache and tired most of the day. Didn't go to the gym, and I went to bed fairly early. Today I'm feeling much better and will go crush some weights in a bit.

Had an awesome time with this! You're a great guy and you really do deserve to be in the top 3 IMO. I didn't have a spotter on declines, but I still almost think that's a PR in some way for me. I've never really pushed myself to my 1MR though, but still.. felt great.

Even though I'm up in weight from my ending photos, my abs have never disappeared, super flat stomach.. my arms feel bigger but I haven't measured.

I"ve also got more prominent veins.. I have two veins that are always showing on my left that connect from elbow to wrist.. I don't know what it is, but I love seeing them... kind of a reminder in some way.

This morning did 42 mins nautilus fasted cardio, immense sweat.

Evening workout:

Still was feeling sore from te day before workout.. lats from the incline bench I think, so I focused on shoulders arms.

5 mins free elliptical warmup

An assortment of free weights and hammerstrength machine presses, curls, and tricep work.. too many to count or mention.. Kept doing rotation of shoulders, tris, then bis. reps between 10-15 per set.

Kept going til the pump was so tense and started failing on barbell curls and laying tri extensions.

21 mins nautilus stepper, intensity lvl 7.. with this chest cold it got pretty hard to breathe but I pushed through it.. felt good to sweat.
