Back Workout and my new bed...

Ok, last week... I said I tweaked my back... the spine, in the middle of my shoulder blades... I found out what happened to me. My doc said it was a "stinger" -- I explained how it happened... and he was very confused. He asked about my bed... and I explained I slept on a paper thin futon mattress, a steel frame, that was crooked and had a 2x4 holding it together...

He balked... told me to get a new bed. So I did, it will be here tomorrow between 9am-12pm.

Now back to my workout.

Barbell Rows -- warmup bar and 135 x10

225x10, 275x9, 305x6, 315x3

Deadlifts -- going EASY on them, until my back is better

135x10, 225x10, 275x8, 315x8, 375x4

High Face Pulls 3 sets x 25 w/90 (on machine)
Front Pulldowns 2 sets x 5 w/stack
Standing pulldowns (arms outstreched in front of body, palm down, forcing lat bar down?) 3 x 15 @ 100 on machine.

Ok that's it... kind of took it easy.. .until my back gets straight... going to get it adjusted this week.

Just a thought...but when you are having to back off a bit on the weight and the intensity...you might want to do a few more sets or another exercise or two. Kinda go to the ultra volume (not extreme though) to compensate.

I do from time to time...when I can't go as heavy or as intense.

Yeah... I should have done more yesterday. I felt as though I had a few more sets in me for sure.
