B Fold's Results. (LONG POST)

Great job Clint!

Just competing at that level is an accomplishment in itself; you should be proud of that. Winning the James Littlejohn award just proves how hardcore you are. Even when your body started to fail you kept going!

Get your ass on here and take your complements! You deserve every last one of them!

Great job Clint! you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of whatsoever! you gave it your all and are an inspiration to everyone who is blessed with knowing you. take care of yourself, get better...

Incredible performance! Use the experience to build on for the future. You will get to where you want to be but you're going to have to suffer along the way. However, your reward will be well worth it, in the end.

I guess you did puke after the deadlift. That almost made me puke just by watching the clip. Who said anything was wrong w/ 4th. Good job bro.

Third...well...the reason this is hard for me is because he doesn't want to post yet. He feels that because everyone helped him out with money and sponsorship...that he let everyone down. He didn't get the pro card like he had set out to do...but I told him that shouldn't matter. He did this for himself...and no one else. BUT...everyone knows what a stand up guy he is and that it would be impossible for him to think that he didn't let everyone down.

ok, I have not even read the rest of your post yet....let me just say that the reason I donated was not because I thought he was a guaranteed winner....don't get me wrong, I hoped that he would win, but that was not the deciding factor. I did it cause of all that he's done for this board and because he seemed like a good person that needed some money to make his dreams come true. When he decides to compete again I will definitely help out again.

Clint,
Night Fly's post brought a tear to my eye.... I'm extremely impressed with you B. One day I hope to have the motivation and drive to push myself to the limits, like you have in this competition.
You are an amazing man, modest, caring, friendly yet physically tough as nails. I don't think anybody could ask for more in a person. You might not have placed first in the competition, but you've won 1st in everyones heart here on the training board.
Next year it will be yours.
Looking forward to your return in good health!
Ryan

B.... What can I say that everone else here hasn't already... We know how badly you wanted a win here..But you will always be a winner because of the pure dedication you have... And we all know you will only come back even stronger and better prepared next time... And I'm sure I speak for many here when I say I will jump at the chance to help you out when your next competition comes around...

That post brought tears to my eyes. B Fold, your one of the most dedicated and motivated guys I know. The drive you showed to continue is nothing less than impressive. You are a true warrior. I wasn't able to send you money for this competition, but I prayed for you on numerous times and will pray for your recovery. If I'm able, I will support you in your training and in your competitions.

Big man, you were 1st overall until your health started to fail. It had nothing to do with your will, heart, or desire!!!!! I know you believe in God, so maybe this was a way for God to teach you something. Maybe this will light a fire inside you that will burn for many years to come.

Your a true champion!!!!

After the first event he was 1st overall. After the second event he was still first overall.

That means he beat EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED in competition in the Deadlift and another exercise?

So it wasn't for his lack of strength or his lack of preparedness, it is just that his body could not handle the intensity. If he was able to beat everyone in these 2 events, imagine the possibilities that he will have in the future. Don't give up, keep training, there will be a next time!
