Arm Wrestling

Any arm wrestlers here? What's the secret? I got my ass handed to me by someone smaller and weaker than me. He locked up, watched me almost tear my bicep off the bone, let me tire myself out and put me away.

hmmm... my guess would be that a lot of it comes down to technique, then. (since the other guy was smaller and weaker)

I imagine he probably was not weaker. You'd have to know what muscles are involved when arm wrestling. Probably the biceps and the rotator cuffs. Maybe his shoulders were VERY powerful.

A friend of mine broke his upper arm while arm wrestling. It was really nasty when it happened, his arm was completely destroyed. He had to have a metal rod surgically put in. Anyways, good luck, and be careful. :D

dudes, alot of guessing going on here...

Arm wrestling is a sport, and like all sports, there is skill involved. but don't think that size always equals strength. I don't plan on arm wrestling again any time soon. my elbow always kills me for a week after a contest.
