Yup a true metro dude gets his eyebrow waxed, manicure and take longer if not equal amounts of time to get ready as a woman. Dressing well and having style doesn't make a metro in my books.

I'm realizing there's really more to the original list in the OP. I should edit it. The OP list was what we were talking about when I popped the joke. The rest of the list is what my subconscience was gathering-
- his going back to the mall to buy those Banana Republic jeans for $70- he can afford it- and willingness to just go shopping the whole time when they go on trip
-his totally willing to be her b*tch (He's fine with her being "the new sheriff in town") and calling all the shots
-his willing to NOT even go to 2nd base. His response to that: "As you wish." -JUST like Princess Bride. He walked out of a fairy tale!
-his NOT wanting to even let HER talk dirty to him. She tried and he said they hadn't even met yet. They met and she tried again and he says "I don't want to talk like that. I LOVE you and respect you."

I don't want to push the point that he's gay and though I think he's at least quite a bit Metro, he's really such a PURE guy. So, she's protecting him like he's a child and neither can take a gay joke. Just saying where my joke jumped out from- all this in the BIG picture. This guy is so PURE he's a unicorn and now I'm convinced they exist if a guy like this exists too.

Another concern Nan though it's completely out of my control and so I shouldn't waste energy on it... I'm fearing for her that he might be low T. They won't even be going to 2nd base so she's not going to ever find out how well his equipment works or how often he wants it. She still holds the V card and supposedly he doesn't yet both of them are putting their consummation on a pedestal like it's a holy grail. - such a rare and archaic thing. It's sweet, but I hope for them they find they are sexually compatible and have a healthy sex life that fits them. A guy so willing to keep things so PURE is so rare I'm just flabbergasted. - part of the background of why I cracked those jokes.

i think you need to just be happy for your friend, wish her luck, be there for her if it doesn't work out, and focus on your own situation.
