As a college student it's hard at times during school to eat healthy. Sometimes you have to grab something to eat on the go, and the choices seem hard.
Usually I'll grab something from a deli, but as of lately I've been eating the salads at Wendys. They are very good and seem somewhat legit but, dressing aside, are they really that healthy?
One day after careful inspection it seems that it's just lettuce, an onion or two and chicken pieces. Now most people add the dressing to get some flavor, but I know better than that. However, does the bare salad alone give enough nutrition for a 20 year old man?
A chicken mandarin salad, with out toppings, has 2 grams fat, .5 g saturated fat, 480 mg sodium, 60 mg cholestrol, 17 g carbs, (4 g fiber, 11 g sugar) and 23 grams protien, all at 170 calories.
it seems pretty sketch to me, and they have the nerve to charge $5 for 170 calories, but it's .99 cents for a 350 calorie burger
