anyone get knee tendinitis?

I've developed really bad tendinitis in my knees from squatting, running, and jumping, and probably overtraining the past few months. I warmup for a good 5-10 minutes and strecth for another 5 before every workout, but it still hurts. I also ice about 3 times a day and take anti-inflammatories. I may have to stop squatting for a week or 2 or at least go really light, but I don't want to give up this exercise permanantly. Has anyone else had this condition and how did you remedy it?
 
Yepper....take some time off and you should be fine.
 
I cort shot will work for about 3 weeks and if you have any minor damage and strain it will only compound the problem once it wears off and you back to squatting school buses.
 
I run sprints a couple of times per week, and they actually don't really feel bad. It's the squats that kill it. I have to do 3 sets of 135 before my knees don't hurt enough to go up in weight...
 
Also, a natural stack that I researched and have used (as well as several others) with success:

1500 mg/day glucosamine sulfate (not HCL or N-Acetyl); 1 x/day
2000 mg/day chondroitin sulfate; 1 x/day
1000 mg/day niacinamide; over 4 doses per day
10 grams hydrolyzed collagen; 1x day

All of the stuff can be bought at BAC cheaply
 
My boss has it. He wears a band around his leg just below his knee. Funny as shit. Looks like a fuckin garter belt when he's wearin shorts. He says it really helps though.
