BTW, NIghtFly, I KNOW he's a good amateur, I love seeing the pics on here. And I am totally rooting for him because I am tired of watching Finns and Swedes win the WSM competition, it's time for America to take it back!

I figured that you knew that....I was only pointing out to him that he doesn't give himself the recognition that he deserves sometimes...that is all.

I am with you, though....I would much rather see a USA guy win than a Finnish or Swedish guy...Go B FOLD!!!!

I have done the truck deadlift hold for time before but never for reps. I would like to sometime though. It is a blast. Lots of people do the trap bar deadlift for partial reps though..I hear that it is a killer. Saw the guys in Boston do that (pros) with a small car and 450lbs of added weight in the trunk.

I am far from a pro at this point. I would like to earn my pro card in the next 2-3 years. If the sport continues to grow and progress over the next couple of years as it is expected to...it will be very hard to even become a pro.

Phil Phister is our best hope at the moment...but he needs to get his butt in gear and start taking this thing serious!!!

I haven't done the Hercules Hold yet...but would love to try.

Hahahaha..naa...you would have fun. It is a big sense of accomplishment when you finally do it. I got that big tire last August/September and it took two of us to barely be able to get it up just once. It almost killed the two of us...now I can flip it and he can get it to the press position.
