how old are you biteme?

and yeah, i konw they'll last longer than they claim. it's also a cleanliness issue though.

i stopped wearing contacts because of pink eye 7 years ago. fucked everything up. even when i used new contacts it came right back.

2 months shy of forty. I'm very careful with sanitary practices and I guess my eyes have just adjusted. They actually bother me much worse when the contacts are out. I'm gonna get lasik done someday.

yeah, i did say tonight that the next step is lasik. i hate having to deal with this vision shit year after year. been 20 years now, you'd think i would've had enough, ya know?

my last pair of glasses cost well over $200. got 2 1/2 years out of them before a rolling over in bed incident snapped them in two. i wasn't happy about that.

gf was kinda giving me the "they cost how much?!" look when i was giving her contact prices. then i broke down the yearly cost and explained that'd it would be just as cheap if not cheaper than glasses every year. once i put it like that (and she knows i try to hunt for a bargain for everything we buy) she was cool with the cost.
