A twinless twins journey to sanity

ok.... i just wanted to let everyone know that my intentions when i joined up on this site was to complete my 12 week cycle of var, winny and clen. well, after my interactions with everyone and reading everyones FANTASTIC INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE, i wanted to reiderate that i am not doing any of the three. i dont judge anyone who have done them, i have tried them. i just feel that i want to see what i can do over the next 12 weeks the "hard way". i am looking at it like this, if i look good enough to step on that stage, then i will. and if i dont look good enough, i will just postpone until a time comes when i am comfortable doing it. i am ok with that, really! i want to enjoy this and not become neurotic and disenfranchised.

I wish everyone would do this! I think you will be pleasantly surprised with your results with just diet and the revised training. I'm excited for you! :elephant:
 
I can't wait to follow your log and see your progress, both physically and psychologically. I am horrible at logs I am afraid....
 
I was reading your thread and and started crying. My husband is an identical twin and I can't begin to describe the bond they have. Good luck in your goals, I'll keep track of your log.

nice to meet you. thank you for the kind words. maybe after you read my thread you will remind your husband to LOVE his twin (i am sure he already does:) i know it made you cry, but i tell my story so people will acknowledge the value and importance of loved ones. you never know when it will be the last time you tell them that. again, nice to meet you rebecca and thanx for following my thread! peace to you and your twin husband!
 
Are you using the tape measure and digital pics to guage progress? IMHO much more accurate indicator.

You are so very right that we never know when those that we love most will be snatched from us. And I think, no I KNOW that you are right that your reaching out online and sharing has a great purpose. :heart:

hey bikinimom, yes, i have taped myself starting from march 09, and that wasn't pretty. i will put up my measurements on my next journal entry tonight. i have been taking pictures too. i have a pic of me at 171, OMG!!!! a friend of mine is going to start taking pics every 2 weeks of me with a high grade camera (which i will post). i am interested in what the results will be on this new program. i have already lost 2 pounds this week and my arms are getting very vascular.

ok... with much help from MOM..(ms. thandie).. i tweaked my diet.
i am shaved down to 140 grams protein and 151 grams carbs. here are my measurements: neck: 13", bi's: R12.25/L13", chest: 35", stomach: 29", hip: 37", shoulders: 42", thighs: 23"/24", calf: R13.5"/L14" todays weight: 127.5 pounds

todays craving: chick-fil-a chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce

8am - 1 cup green tea
1 scoop nitro tech protein shake
vit-c x1000 mg

830am - 30 MINUTE CARDIO RUN ON PAVEMENT WITH SPRINT INTERVALS

10am - 4 egg whts/1/2 cup oats
1 cup green tea
vit-c x1000 mg, multi-vit, fish oil, B-12,

1230pm - 4 oz tuna/1/2 cup brown rice/1 cup brocc

1pm - NO WORKOUT TODAY

230pm - 1 scoop nitro tech protein shake
flax seed
vit c x1000mg
potassium
1 cup green tea

430pm - 4 egg whts/yogurt/ezekiel bread

730pm - 4 oz grnd turkey/1 cup brocc

TOTAL protein=140 carbs=151
