A QUESTION ABOUT DIP

I want to know about dip...like skoal...not dips. I read online that nicotine hurt your strength levels by some rediculous amount. I recently quit smoking and drinking (about a month ago) which is tough for me because I'm a bouncer at a bar. But, I've been really good about it. I still dip though. I wanted to know from anyone's personal experience, is dip detrimental to your strength levels? Thanks for all the input.

Damn, i meant to reply to this.. Ive used dip off and on for a while now and never experienced strength gains or losses. However, right after i use it i get real high and lazy, so maybe its not good to take b4 training but should be fine after. btw, which kind do you use? I personally like kodiak-man that shit will fuck you up!
 
Dip rules but like Mike said after I dip I feel tired and a bit high from the Nic. Anyone trying to quit this I am trying but it's hard to kick the habit, how many tins do you guys go through in about a week I would like to know, or anyone that has gotten cancer from it which is what I am worried about
 
I think as long as you dont overdo it or use it constantly for years you wont get cancer, and believe it or not ive read that nicotine actually stimulates the nervous system and can help detoxify the liver, though not to any great extent. btw, i dont dip much anymore, but when i did-I DID! i used to go through a whole can in about 4 dips-i was stuffing my gums so much i couldnt even try to close my bottom lip-good shit though. as for trying to quit, ive never been addicted to anything in my life, sorry bro.
 
yeah, kodiak is the shit. i dont dip as much as i used to by far. used to pound through a can every 2 days. now its more like a few weeks. anyhow, ive read a few times that dip can actually help your strenght levels if taken right before big lifts like sqauts and bench press. but as far as research goes, im pretty sure that it is detrimental, the only explanation to the "benefits" of taking it before lifting would be pyschological.
 
Copenhagen Long Cut here! I smoke and dip all the time but I'm trying to cut back on the smokin. I would say I go through a can every day and a half. I've recently started dipping during my workouts. I will buy a Thermo speed drink at the gym and when I'm done with it I use it as a spit cup. The caffeine plus nicotine speeds your heart rate up and makes you work out like a champ. I always wait until the fine girls are gone before I put one in though. Girls hate that shit! I love it though.
