A handfull of pr's from the last week

Do you feel any pain in your elbows at all when you do these?

Not usually, but I am neary the end of my heavy phase so I'm pretty beat up which is why I'm wearing the elbow sleeves. Can't believe how much better my joints feel using them.

EM- Yeah yeah I guess 3X shirts just aren't cutting it anymore. I'll try and get some new ones after x-mas.lol

Cheers,

Hmm...I may need to pick up some for myself because when I do heavy triceps presses or heavy military presses, I feel a little uneasy on the joints

Do it man you'll thank yourself. Mine are the inzer elbow sleeves with the three velcro straps on them. I know titan makes some and I'm sure most of the other pl gear companies do. I also have the inzer knee sleeves that work the same way. They don't give as much support as wraps but take 1/10th the time to be ready.

So what's the difference between those ones and the ones you can pick off the shelf in a pharmacy?

So what's the difference between those ones and the ones you can pick off the shelf in a pharmacy?

The ones I have are made of the same material as the wrist wraps and knee wraps. It's heavy duty elastic and fabric that will last a very long time. The pharmacy ones are typically neoprene or light elastic with cotton that do little more than aid in retaining heat in the joint(not that that's a bad thing). The heavier sleeves actually give support to the joint and add a measure of stability. Of course they are far more expensive but as with most things you get what you pay for.

Couple more from deadlifting tonight.

Pulling 500x3 without a belt (reps pr best ever beltless was 500x1)

Pulling 590x2 (reps pr) had intended to do 3 but I jammed the bar into my right knee on the way up on #2(hence the big hitch) and that took a lot out of me.

Still having to use straps since I injured my right wrist. It's my under hand and even lifting 225 is agonizing with a mixed grip. Been experimenting with the hook grip a little bit but an not liking it so far.

Man you put up the 405x3 super easily. To me it looked like you put up that 435 pretty easy, looked like you'd maybe be good for like 455. When I put up my max it is one son of a bitch of a struggle to put it up, goes up much slower than you put up 435:(:)
